"MOTHER IM HOME" skylar joked walking into the house throwing her bag on the small table next to the front door "Mum" skylar said walking into the kitchen "Hi honey" she slightly said "Dad" skylar said looking up at the man in front of her, she hadn't seen him since she was 13 her mum had worked up the courage to kick him out "Come and give your old man a hug" he said smiling "No" "What happened to you while I was gone" her dad scuffed "I just don't take shit from dick heads anymore" she spat "Skylar foster, language" her mum said
"Why is he even here" the girls said to her mum trying to hold back the now almost visible tears "Sweetie he's your father, he has a right to see you" she said sweetly "No he isn't no dad treats their daughter that way" she said "Don't speak about me like that" he shouted banging his hand on the counter
The girl flinched at the voice turning her head to the side "I'm going to Jbs house" skylar said picking up her bag from the table and opening the door before she got pulled back by her wrist
"no u aren't" he shouted slapping the girl She says nothing but looking at the man in front of her "You disgust me" she says storming out ,tears finally falling down her face
Skylars father, David foster, had always been a terrible man to his daughter he would always play the victim no matter what and everyone always believed him, skylar fell for his tricks ,once he had said that her mother was the problem not him when in reality it was him, he was an abusive man physically and mentally mainly to skylars mum but when skylar reached the age of 10 it started happening to her. Skylar begged her mum day and night to kick him out, it took three years of begging for her to finally do it.
"Hey princess" jj smiled at the girl walking towards him and the pogues "What's wrong" he added once he saw the girls face up close "He's back" the girl cried "Who's back" he asked confused "My dad" she subbed as the boy wrapped his arms around her "I'm so sorry" he mumbled into her hair
Everyone went silently, John b and jj where the only ones who knew about her father but now kie and pope definitely have their suspicions.
the only thing you could hear is skylars sobs
A second or so later another pair of arms joined into the hug
"It's gonna be okay sky" John b spoke
Two more arms wrapped around her Her arms hugged onto jjs lower body tightly "I'm so done with this shit" sky said into jjs top "I know" jj replies
They stayed like that for awhile until sky decided all she wanted to do was sleep so that is ofc what she did, I mean when would she say no to sleep.
"Sky" said jj shaking her side a bit "What" she groaned turning over to look at him "Well aren't you a ball of sunshine in the morning" he said sarcastically "Yeah, whatever" she says sitting up looking at the boy in front of her "How u feeling" he asks sitting in front of the girl on the bed "Shit" she says truthfully
"Thank you" sky said breaking the silence "For what" he asked confused "For always being here for me" she says giving the boy a slight smile "I'll always be here sky" he says holding the girls hand in his "And I'll always be here for you jj" she smiled
They just stared at each over in silence,it wasn't awkward tho it's was peaceful
"I'm really scared jj" skylar said breaking the silence "I know, and I'm gonna be here for you" "I won't let anyone touch you" moving closer to her if that was even possible "What about my mum" she said trying to stop her tears "I don't know yet, but im sure she is gonna be strong just like her daughter" The girl gave him a small smile in return
Sky wrapped her arms around him
"I love you jj" she said as he pulled her into his lap "I love you too sky" he smiled
The girl unwrapped her arms from the boys neck so she could look at him
They started to lean closer Skylar was mentally freaking out, was she about to kiss her best friend
Jj placed his lips on hers before the door opened making them both pull away in panic to see a shocked John b
"Huh, I never thought this would actually happen" he says "Uh, we'll I need to go walk my fish" skylar said getting off of jjs lap and walking past John b to go outside "She doesn't have a fish" jj asks confused "You are such a dumbass" he groaned walking away "But it's true" he said walking after him
"What's happening" kie says from her seat outside "Jj is being dumb" John be says taking a seat next to pope "All I said is that sky doesn't have a fish" he says trying to defend himself "Jj you also can't walk a fish" skylar said turning to him "Oh" he said shutting up "So what are we doing today pogues" sky spoke up
"Me and jj are going to Ms. Lana to figure this whole thing out" John b says smacking jjs back "Have fun with that" sky says leaning back into her seat "Will do" jj says sarcastically "I'm gonna go back to sleep" skylar says making her way to the room "Hey, uh are you gonna be okay" jj says leaning on the door frame "Jj I'm not five I think I'll be fine" she says turning to look at him "I know I'm just worried" he sighs looking down "Ik you are and thank you so much for that, but I'll be fine" she smiles now standing in front of him "Yeah okay, we'll see you later" he says about to leave "Hey come back here a second" "What is it" he asks
Sky presses her lips onto his for a quick second
"That's all you're gonna give me" he says "Yeah be grateful" "Yeah whatever bye sky" he says walking out "BYE JJ"
