Buffy had tried to never buckle or break under the weight the world had forced on her, but she did.

After seven years she finally fell below expectations and everything fell into pieces.

Buffy was starting to question who she would be to her family and her friends if she couldn't be who was expected.

Who was Buffy without the pressure?

Would she be worthless?

Would separating herself from her blood family finally open her up to happiness?

Yet, her daughter was far away

Yet, her daughter was far away.

Allowing her friends and family the chance to pretend.

To pretend that nothing had changed.

But it had.

The entire supernatural world had changed.

Buffy had beaten another apocalypse and created another supernatural faction within the world.

The Slayers.

Slayers that were declaring her their Queen...along with every other supernatural faction in the world.

With more people than ever relying on her to lead them, Buffy was forced into a new role.

She was the General...The Queen.

Expected to lead

Expected to lead.

Which forced her to split herself.

Two halves of her heart, one in Mystic Falls with her siblings and one in New Orleans with the Mikaelsons.

Another choice was quickly approaching.

Mystic Falls or New Orleans.

This time...once the choice was made, there would be no going back.

As her friends and family latched onto her, trying to keep her from truly ever leaving Mystic Falls, Buffy knew there was more to it.

They wanted her with them and away from The Mikaelsons.

Despite the fact that Buffy knew moving to New Orleans would destroy a lot of her relationships, didn't she deserve to be selfish?
