New to this medium, but my desire is to have someone advise me as to the process of submitting my writing for the enjoyment of others. Hopefully that will translate to financial gain. I say hopefully because I am skeptical about being rewarded for my content based on followers and any overseeing entity. Honestly my pessimism paints a picture of the site's powers that be reaping the majority of the fruits of my labor, while I am supposed to be ecstatic of whatever scraps remain. I believe in my ability and I need input on the validity of the compensation as it pertains to the content of my submissions. 
          Basically I need someone to validate from experience that work that writers "dig" is rewarded by the community wanting to read more from the author and they pay for continuation of what interests them. Anyone scare to comment?
