Window to the World - A Poem About Our Way of Smelling

The scent of lemon cake enters my mind,

for the sweet and for the best,

a tough feat to make,

but I know it'll turn out better than the rest.

Twitching slightly at the aroma, to my delight for satisfaction.

It almost brings me into a coma!

At least, for a faction of a second frozen.

Tilted down when I'm disgusted,

and flaring up when I'm pleased.

Always to be trusted,

when I'm at ease.

Helping me whiff the warm air

of the gâteau- waiting for its mend,

as I dance- too happy to care,

with my army friend~
