"jesus fucking christ," JJ marvelled at the house.
i rifled through the glove box, shoving bags of weed and rizzlers out of the way to find the house key.
i eventually brought it out, dusting weed off my hands.
"ta-da!" i waved it in the air, walking up to the door and unlocking it.
the door swung open to reveal the dark foyer.
i walked into the room and flicked on the lights.
"well come in," i beckoned.
"this is sick," Kie looked around.
"let's go full Kook this summer." JJ grinned at his friends.
"agreed," Pope high-fived him.
everyone looked at John B who sighed and rolled his eyes. "fine. just for the summer."
i assigned rooms to everyone.
i was in my usual bedroom in the middle of the house.
Kie was to the left, Pope was opposite, JJ was to the right and John B was next to Kie, as far away from me and JJ as possible.
i went to Kie's room to find out how she was getting on.
"hey," she looked up from the drawers.
"are you alright?" i sat on the bed.
"yeah, just taking it all in." she grinned.
"i'll give you an official tour later."
"have you been to see JJ?"
"not yet,"
"i saw what you did with the sleeping arrangements." she winked.
i rolled my eyes. "JB can't make the rules in my house."
Kie smirked and continued stuffing bikinis and shorts into the drawers. "so who's room is this?" she gestured at the airy white theme.
"it's Ace's. nobody likes the white decor except Mum, Dad and me."
"i love it. it's so clean and fresh." she flopped next to me on the bed, staring up at the opaque drapes.
"until all my brothers arrive. last time we were here the staff had to replace everything in Leo's room because it either stank of weed or had alcohol spilled on it."
"i like the sound of your brothers, you don't happen to have a devastatingly handsome twin do you?"
i laughed. "nope, but there's Zac who's 18 and Ben who's 19."
"i see..." she nodded. "you don't happen to have a photo of them do you?"
"just walk around the house! there's a million photos of the family!" i shook my head and stood up.
"where are you going?! i haven't finished quizzing you about Ben and Jack!"
"Zac! honestly, you want to date him but can't even get his name right!" i shook my head playfully before slamming the door and running to JJ's room.
i knocked quickly on the door.
"just a minute!" he called.
i heard lots rustling then the door swung open.
"oh, hi." he grinned.
"hi. can i come in?"
he nodded and i walked past him into Eli's room.
"are you alright?" he asked as i sat at the door of the bed.
"hm? yeah i'm fine, how are you?"
"i'm good, i'm good. i've just been unpacking." he gestured at the fresh mess of clothes on the floor.
