JJ picked up pot-noodles and chocolate bars and ready meals, chucking them in the cart as i pushed.

"do you seriously eat this shit?" i laughed as he cleared the entire shelf of pretzels.

"i do! and it's not shit, it's fucking great!"

"hm," i raised my brows.

"what do you suggest we get?" he looked over at me.

"i thought you'd never ask."

i took him to the fruit and veg aisle, placing everything i saw into the cart.

"you're not one of those all natural flavour, no added colouring girls are you?" he frowned.

"is that going to be a problem?"

"no..."

"well sorry but i'm not." i grinned.

he rolled his eyes as i chose cheese and bread and ready made soup.

"do you like playing pranks on people?" JJ asked suddenly.

"um, yeah, i guess. why?"

he broke into an evil smirk and picked up some brownie mix.

"i make a wild brownie, ask anyone. if you help me then they'll be mental."

"are you implying what i think you are, Sandy Maybank?"

"well let's just say the secret ingredient isn't a pinch of salt, Cupcake."

"you're bad," i said.

"you're not stopping me." he remarked, carrying the box like a baby. "if i'm 'bad', you're worse."

"and you know this how?" i scoffed.

"John B didn't just warn you about me, he warned me about you too."

this caught my attention. "what did he say exactly?"

"he said you're a rich party girl who only cares about drugs, sex and surfing."

"that little bitch." i picked up a huge bag of pasta and put in in the cart.

JJ shrugged. "it's just his opinion."

"and what's your opinion?"

"well you're kind, generous, funny and cute." he did a little spin. "plus you're a damn good surfer."

i gave a mock bow and laughed. "what can i say!"

"your opinion on me." he grinned, putting milk in the cart.

i rolled my eyes. "you're nice,"

"nice?!"

"yeah! but i think there's a lot more to you than meets the eye."

he frowned. "what's that meant to mean?"

"it's just my opinion," i shrugged.

Kie, Pope and John B were on us as soon as we arrived back.

"we're starving!" Kie hunted through the carrier bags and ripped open a punnet of strawberries.

"you took your time!" JB grumbled.

"thanks guys." Pope nodded.

"you're welcome, Pope. nice to see somebody is grateful." i said pointedly.

"yeah, yeah, thanks Mia." Jonny huffed.

"and JJ!" Kie added.
