Age: just turned 1 yr old a while ago

Rudy's pov
Me and JD were hanging out at my house and my 1 yr old daughter is on the ground playing with her toys

"has she started speaking yet?" JD asked

"no, but I'm not gonna be worried until she reaches 3-4 and still hasn't started. She's just only turned one 6 months ago, I'll just let her do her thing. " JD nods showing that she agrees

I was about to ask something when I felt a tug on my jeans

I look down and see y/n sitting down looking up at me with her hand on my jean

"what baby?" I asked as I picked her up and sat her on my lap

You guys have this set up since you can't talk that he will say something And if it's correct you giggle (idk I'm sorry)

"diaper change?" Silence

"hungry?" Giggles

"alright, let's go" He says as he picks you up and stands up putting you on his hip

"you wanna come in here and talk to me while I make her a bottle?" I ask JD

"sure." They both walk to the kitchen talking with you still giggling about random things

He starts making your bottle of milk while JD talks to him

"are you excited to start filming OBX again?" JD asks

"yeah. Pretty sure y/n is also excited. I swear she loves being on set, I think she just likes the attention but oh well. I don't know what I would have done if Jonas said I couldn't bring her because I do not trust hiring someone to watch her"

"thats understandable, I mean a lot of people know you play JJ so it would be hard finding someone that didn't." JD said

"yeah, and I knew for a fact my parents couldn't watch her everyday, they'll say they want to but I know that they always have some sort of plans for the day and I don't want them to be worried about y/n while doing that."

JD nods, Rudy finishes the bottle and lays you down in his arms cradling you and holding the bottle to your mouth as if he let you hold it you would just keep dropping it on the floor

"wanna watch a movie while she eats?" I ask

"sure. What movie? " JD asks

"you pick. I'll get the snacks when she finishes eating. "

"i can get the snacks. Here you go sit down and feed her I'll get us drinks and snacks. " JD says

"you sure?"

"yes. Go! " He chuckles at him and goes back to the living room sitting down, and watching you eat

JD came back and put the snacks on the table and put on (what ever)

A few minutes into the show he saw that you stopped eating so he took the bottle and set it on the table. He sat you up on his lap so you could watch the show too

During the show

"D-da-da-dada"

JD quickly paused the show

"wait- what did you just say Bubba?" I ask

"Dada!!!" He starts tearing up and immediately turns you around and hugs you to his chest

"yeah. Good job baby. Good job. " You just giggle

He eventually pulls away and sees JD recording, so he gives him a confused look

"i just caught that whole thing on video." JD admits proudly

"wait really?" He nods and shows him.

He ends up sending it to Ethan and he posts it
