JJ, Mike, and Anna land at LAX Airport about six hours later. They get off the plane, and Mike goes straight to the rental car counter to get them a car to drive the almost two hour drive to Santa Barbara. JJ and Anna find a seat over in the waiting area. There's a couple moments of silence between the two of them, before to Anna's surprise, JJ is the first to break it.

"Miss Anna?"

"Hm."

"Why did you come and tell me about Kiara?" JJ asks innocently.

Anna's eyebrows crinkle at JJ's question. "Well, I just thought that out of her friends, you would for obvious reasons, be the most concerned." she answers.

"But you and Mike never cared for me when it came to being with Kiara, why do you now?" JJ counters.

Anna flattens her lips. "JJ..." she trails off, "...did Kiara tell you about the night she came back home to see you, and you were on your boat with another girl?" Anna asks.

It's JJ's turn to crinkle his eyebrows. "Yeah, she did, and I told her it wasn't what it looked like." JJ tells her.

"Well, when I came to pick her up that night, she came back home for the night, and told me how she still felt about you, and how much she still loved you." Anna tells him. "And then when we ran into you on your boat tour, and I saw the way that she looked at you." She pauses for a moment. "I never saw her look at Casey like that in the short amount of time we were all together." Anna says bumping JJ's shoulder.
