JJ and Kiara arrive back home from the doctor's office after finding out they're having a baby girl and Kiara decides she wants to call her parents and tell them the exciting news, that they will be having a granddaughter.

"Hey, I'm going to give my Mom a call and let her know that they're going to have a granddaughter!" Kiara tells JJ.

JJ nods and takes a deep breath as he rubs the back of his head. Kiara tilts her head sideways, sensing something is off with him immediately. "What?" she asks. "Nothin', that's just crazy to say, 'we're having a daughter'. I'm still tryin' to wrap my head around the fact that we made a baby, let alone a baby girl." he says with a smile. Kiara walks over to him and wraps her arms around his neck.

"You're going to be a great dad, you know that?" Kiara says.

"I'm not so sure, it's not like I had the best example." JJ says. Now that the overall shock over finding out the gender is fading, Kiara can see him slowly slipping into his "overthinking"/"self-doubt" mode. She shakes her head. "Hey, look at me..." she says grabbing his face and making him look at her. "...I'm going to stop you before you even start. There is no doubt in my mind that you are going to be the best father a daughter could ever ask for. She is already the luckiest girl in the world that she's going to have you as her dad." Kiara says, trying to block him from entering that dark hole he goes into when he doesn't think he's good enough or deserving of beautiful things happening.
