(Figured I'd post another chapter)

With the sun still up, shining up in the blue sky, the five Pogues found themselves on a beach, kegger in hand. The Heyward twins and Kiara all watched as JJ and John B set up the kegger before filling red solo cups with alcohol. Laughs escaped their throats as JJ occasionally sprayed at his friends with the kegger.

After many minutes, the beach had started to get full with people. Y/n still stood with her brother, red solo cup in her hand as they talked with one another. Many civilians of the Outer Banks surrounded the kegger in hopes of getting a drink as the sun was slowly beginning to set.

"Alright. You can't understand the Outer Banks without understanding the boneyard. It's kinda like a three-layer burrito."

"Yo, what's up, homie?" John B greets as he fills a red solo cup.

"What's up, man?" A boy greets back.

"There's us and our friends, the working-class derelicts."

Handing the boy the cup in his hand, the Routledge boy fills up a few more, giving them to his friends who also lived on the cut. Once they were gone, he turns to his right, seeing more people standing there. However, unlike their friends, these people didn't have smiles on their faces.

"Then, there are the Kooks, the rich second-homers."

Raising a brow, the brunette holds up the cup in his hand, teasing the Kook in front of him as he watches the rich kid try to reach out for the red solo cup, but the Pogue continues to move it away from him. Having enough of this, the Kook eventually snatches it out of John B's hands.

"They're mostly from poncey-ass boarding schools, just rich trustafarian posers. Our natural enemies."

Looking away from the Kooks and filling another drink up, the hazel eyed boy turns to a girl who were pigtail braids and a hat over her head.

"And then, there are the Tourons."

"Want a beer?" John B asks, holding up the cup.

"Totally clueless. Here for a week on vacation with their families."

The girl smiles, grabbing it. "Thanks."

As she walks off, the Routledge boy is soon joined by JJ and Kiara, both Pogues standing by his side as he fills another drink, holding it out for a girl.

"Hey, you want a beer?" John B questions.

"Chum for the sharks."

The three disperse as Y/n found herself walking around the party, hands in her pockets while also greeting her friends that she passed by. While walking, the Heyward girl couldn't help but glance around in search of someone. In search of him. She didn't wanna deal with him at the moment, but, usually, he was at parties. Lots of them.

Even now, she regrets ever doing anything with him. But... does she really? Wouldn't he regret it? Y/n remembers the many texts she'd get from him throughout the day, even after she told them they should stop. But a part of her... missed him, actually. Snapping the girl out of her thoughts, Kiara walks over, grabbing the girl's hand, saying she needed to have some fun.

Throughout the party, the girls stayed together, laughing while they occasionally danced to the music, laughing at how clumsy JJ was after he had a few drinks. Y/n couldn't help but let out a chuckle when she heard her brother talking to a girl rather awkwardly. Side by side, the girls find themselves walking towards John B who was speaking with a girl. Just then, the smile from Kie's face fades away.
