|Isle of Lindisfarne,

Field Trip, Weeks later...

Moon Phase: Full Moon|

"The isle of Lindisfarne, as I express in my book, "Resources and Religion on Medieval Lindisfarne," has always been a sanctuary. A magic safe haven, as it is cut off from the outside world for most of the day, which is also why we have timed our visit so carefully." While Mr. Jeffries was explaining those things, Liana was leaning her head against the window and would have dozed off a long time ago, if not for the blood pumping red-hot in her veins with excitement, at the full moon that would rise tonight.

Liana heard a light, fidgety tapping sound and in response to the sound that was unfamiliar to her, she turned her head around to spot Rick, who was unable to carve anything from anywhere, so he was fidgeting.

"You are not seriously still on about him being a wolfblood, are you?" That was Maddy speaking into her ear and Liana grunted under her breath, and she turned around to see that she was leaning over the seat in front of her to speak to Liana.

"Tonight will answer that question then, won't it? Rhydian will be able to transform out on the moors and if he spots another wolfblood out on the moors, then we will have some solid and trustworthy evidence of it. Won't we?" Liana muttered and Maddy was sighing quietly, as they finally stopped driving and immediately, Rhydian and Maddy, along with Liana were the first ones off of the bus.

After getting freaked out by the story and by the fact that they were goin' to be stuck in a cellar, Liana followed the duo of Rhydian and Maddy swiftly up and onto the rooftop. "I know how you two feel. I wish we could be running about outside of the cellar in the basement." She muttered and she looked at the two, as they both hugged her.

After a bit more time, they came downstairs again and Liana found herself sitting on the side of the area on her own, as she was attempting to focus on the music in her ears as her extra senses were acting up, yet again, due to it being a full moon.

"Okay, people, the questions cover the castle, the lime kilns, together with the church and the priory. So for those who have been paying good attention, this should be very easy." Mr. Jeffries stated as he handed out questions and his booklets and as he did, Liana shook her head slightly as the music wasn't working.

She heard scratching and she looked over to her right and spotted that Rick was carving something into the "old as the Stone Age" wall and she raised her eyebrows, as she spotted a tattoo or a brand of sorts on his neck. It was an hourglass and he moved the knife away and wiped at whatever he had carved. She stood up and walked over to him quietly, and she looked around his arm. "Why are you always carving things?" Liana asked and he nearly jumped a foot into the air, as she was backing up and he looked at her with a cold look on his face.

"My family back in Nebraska. They own a wood-carving shop. Old habit, I guess." He said and she looked at the carving, which he swiftly covered with his hand before she could see it and he shook his head. "Go away, will you? Don't you and your friends want to go annoy someone else?" He asked and she shrugged, as she walked away and joined Maddy and Rhydian again.

After Rhydian had busted his ankle doing a stupid stunt to boast in front of the "dumb as rocks" trio of Jimi, Liam and Sam, they were stuck on the island.

Maddy and Rhydian had already left the hotel, by the time that Liana had a moment and had managed to get from Shannon, Tom and the three K's all at once.

"You two left without me." Liana muttered as she caught up to them swiftly and she stood at the edge of the rocks in silence. "Maddy, you are a wolf now." She murmured quietly and her sister hugged her before the moon rose and their veins started to appear.

Maddy was the first to change, then followed by Rhydian and finally Liana was the last one to change, as they all howled in unison.

Liana howled and they all raced around and they were running all around the island. They ended up stuck in the lime kilns and out of the complete darkness, there was another massive wolf suddenly racing out of the darkness.

Into the old lime kilns where they were stuck and as she growled in a questioning matter, the big wolf ran forward and knocked straight into Tom and Shannon, growling at them as if to say "get out of here" and the trio did immediately, and they were all followed by the bigger wolf and at the sight of it after they had disappeared from the lime kilns of annoyance, Liana growled at Maddy and Rhydian.

The next morning, they were all getting back on the bus and Liana looked at Maddy and Rhydian, who walked over to Rick with her and he looked at them. "What does that hourglass mean?" Liana asked and he looked at her, as he finished up a new carving and she looked at it. "You carve it everywhere, you have a tattoo of it..."

"It's my pack symbol, all right?" Rick muttered and they all looked stunned to see him admit it out loud.

"Mom and dad, they were both killed by a bunch of hunters, on the last full moon, who were coming after me. I was sent here after the only remaining family I had left... who is a human by the way, decided that I was too much of a risk. Happy now?" He asked and they all looked stunned at the explanation, as he turned on his heel and stormed off and they spotted veins on the back of his hand that was holding his backpack, as he left.

"I told you." Liana murmured and they both looked at her, as they made their ways back to the bus together as their teachers swiftly drove them all back to school.
