JJ placed the gun down on Shoupe's desk.

"Said we'd get the gun," Bella crossed her arms. "Believe us now?"

"So y'all are telling me this is the firearm Rafe Cameron killed Peterkin with?"

JJ nodded, "That's exactly what we're telling you, Shoupe."

"And the exact same firearm that Ward just used to kill Gavin," Pope added.

"I-" Shoupe sighed, "And where's that corpse again?"

"Didn't you look?" Kiara asked.

"I checked the hospital. I went by his house. He was out."

"He was out?"

JJ shouts, "No shit! 'Cause he's dead!"

"Listen to yourself! It makes perfect sense!" Kiara screams.

"Just because he's not in his damn home does not mean he was a victim of a homicide."

"What are you talking about?"

"You gotta be kidding."

"So if he's found in some 'accident' in a day or two, or comes up missing after a week what then? If I need to go hunting for a corpse for you to believe us I will," Bella said looking Shoupe in the eye.

"Are you at least gonna send it in for ballistics and shit, or are you just gonna sit on your ass?" Kiara said.

"He'll sit there and wax that damn mustache. Is that even real?" JJ yelled.

"I'll wax this-" Shoupe stands up and points at JJ.

"Shut up JJ!" Pope yells.

Kiara looks at Shoupe, "It's not fair!"

"Oh I'm sorry. Did I hurt his feelings?"

"Shut up!" Pope scolded.

Shoupe opens his door, "Get out. I got work to do."

"Are you serious?" JJ scoffed.

"And y'all are smelling up my damn office."

"Shit," Pope cursed.

Kiara stands up, "Did Ward bribe you? This doesn't make any sense." She walks out of his office.

JJ mutters, "You ain't gonna do shit."

"Out!"

Pope sighs and looks at Shoupe, "We brought you the murder weapon. There's no logical reason for you not to send it in."

"Go with your friends."

"This is bullshit," Pope whispers and follows.

Bella's the only one left.
