"He deserved it, right?" JJ asked, throwing a line into the water.

Kiara looked at him, "Are you joking? Of course he deserved it."

"Sarah didn't deserve to see that though," Bella sighed. "No one does. A parent dying is one thing, watching it happen is a whole other one."

JJ grabbed Bella's hand.

"Never seen anyone blow themselves up like that," Pope said.

"Cross that one off the bucket list."

"JJ!" Kiara scolded.

Bella gently hit his arm.

"Sucks for Sarah," he added.

Kiara made her way down and sat next to John B, "Are you ok?"

"It's not me I'm worried about."

Bella checked her phone, "She has 43 more minutes to get back from the reading."

John B looks at her and nodded.

The sun was down, and Pope and John B were laying around the HMS looking at the stars.

"I don't get it," John B said. "I don't."

Pope sighs, "Love is five minutes of pleasure for a lifetime of pain."

"Wow." John B sits up, "So ok, you and Kie. What's going on? Talk to me."

"Um," Pope sniffles and sits up too. "Well... she just wants to be friends."

John B sighs, "Deathblow. Oh no, I'm sorry man."

"I... I didn't even see it coming."

John B sighs again.

"Hot potato, hot potato, hot potato two!" JJ shouted tossing a few beers for them, walking down the dock with Kiara and Bella.

"Impressive catch," Kiara says as the beer hits the boat.

"Oh!"

Bella rolled her eyes, "Lose any more and you'll be out for the rest of the night."

John B stands up getting ready to catch one.

"One, two," JJ tosses it.

"Hey." Kiara cheers as he catches it.

Pope holds his hand out for one, "I'll take that."

"Alright," JJ tosses him one too.

Bella sits down on the dock.

JJ taking his spot next to her, "What are you guys doing down here? Having a good cry?"

"Cry?" Pope asks.
