"So you're against me too huh? Siding with that scum?!" Watching Drew transform into Rafe was amazing to you, he was so talented and a gift to watch.

"I can't stand by and watch you ruin yourself Rafe!" You screamed back, stepping closer to your costar. Getting cast in Outer Banks had been a dream come true.

Everyone was so welcoming and you had a whole new group of wonderful friends. You and Drew had clicked pretty fast, and you spent a lot of time together once you were cast as his love interest.

Along the way a small crush had blossomed and you did your best to push it down. Drew was the perfect guy. He was kind, driven, talented, and of course easy on the eyes.

You both got right into the zone when filming though, always keeping as professional as possible.

You built the tears up as your character was upset with Rafe. He pleaded with his eyes, his emotions conveying so perfectly.

Rafe kisses your character and today was finally the day it was being filmed. The both of you had joked about it for a while now, but as it got closer you found yourself getting anxious.

Drew leaned forward, grabbing your face. You could feel your heart hammering in your chest. He pressed his lips to yours and you had to separate yourself from reality, it's just a show.

"I love you please." 'Rafe' whispers in your ear as he continues to kiss you more. "Drew" You whispered out, your stomach immediately dropping.

Your eyes met his and you could see his confusion but it was only for a split second. You muttered a quick sorry before Jonas yelled cut.

"Don't worry y/n it's late were all tired!" The cast laughed thinking you truly made an honest mistake. You laughed it off even though you were mortified on the inside.

Drew was shocked when you said his name. Sure it happens sometimes but something about it left him feeling weird.

He had a glimmer in his eye, and his lips were raised in a small smirk. "We'll pick back up here tomorrow!" Jonas announced, as Drew was stuck standing there as you walked right off the set.

You practically jogged to Madelyn's trailer needing your best friend right now. You swung the door open and she looked up from her spot on the couch. She lowered the script in her hands seeing your frazzled face.

"You good?" She sat up, patting the spot next to her. "I said his name, oh my god." You dropped your head into your hands, your heart still beating out of your chest.

"What?" Maddie asked confused, running her hand through your hair. "I said Drew instead of Rafe." You confessed with your head still down.

You could hear the small gasp she let out as her hand suddenly stopped moving on your back. "No way." You just nodded your head as you lifted your head and laid your back on the couch.

You stared up at the ceiling, not seeing Maddie's smile. Turns out Drew had feelings too but was also concerned about the fact you played love interests. He had confided in Maddie since her and Chase had gotten together.

Once Drew left his spot on set, he headed off to Chase's trailer, needing to talk to someone. He opened the door to find Chase and Rudy hanging out.

They both looked over to him and immediately noticed something was off. "Guys, we have a problem." He sighed as he plopped down in the chair next to them. "What's up?" Rudy asked.

"Well we were shooting our scene and y/n said my name instead of Rafe." The other two boys exchanged a secretive glance to each other, knowing Drew had been crushing on you.

"I mean awkward... but that's good right?" Rudy smiled trying to make his friend feel better. Drew shrugged his shoulders, "I dunno, I mean what if it really was just an accident and I'm reading into it too much?"

He bobbed his leg up and down nervously, playing with the rings on his fingers. "I think it's time to talk to her." Chase patted his hand on Drew's shoulder as Rudy nodded in agreement.

Drew agreed, knowing that the both of you were close enough to talk about this. "You're right, I think I'm gonna go find her." Drew said his goodbyes as he left to find you. Not noticing Chase and Rudy silently cheering behind him.

Drew started walking to your trailer hoping you hadn't left yet. He took a quick breath before knocking on the door.

"Hey y/n/n it's me, can we talk?" He asked through the door. When he didn't hear any movement he quickly felt discouraged.

"Drew?" You were walking back from Maddie's to grab your things when you saw him standing on the small step in front of your trailer outside.

He whipped his head around and looked relieved to see you, which made you feel a bit better. "Hey uh wanna talk real quick?"

He nodded his head to your trailer asking if it was okay to go in. You smiled slightly and nodded as he opened the door motioning for you to enter first.

You both settled on the couch and you hated the lingering tension in the air. The two of you were so close and could talk about anything, but this was driving a wedge.

"I'm sorry if I made it weird today at all." You swallowed your pride and spoke first. Looking down to your lap and picking at your fingernails.

He looked up at you and his face had changed, he looked like he felt bad. "No it's okay really. It happens to the best of us, just caught me off guard for a second." He tried to lighten the mood, nudging you over which brought a smile out of you.

You were grateful that he was able to brush it off but you couldn't help the ache you felt. You would never be able to tell him that you have feelings.

"You know I said your name once too, but you didn't hear it." You pulled your eyebrows together in confusion, "Really?" You smiled at the thought.

"Yeah it was so awkward I don't know how you couldn't tell." You both laughed as the tension had slowly dissipated.

"Well then we're even." You winked at him as he leaned further into the couch. "Can I ask you something though?" He asked resting his head on his hand, you nodded.

"Stop me if I get too weird but I don't know I just felt something different when you said my name and I know you're a damn good actress but I've been keeping down some feelings for quite a while now and I just thought that-"

You cut Drew off by placing your lips on his. You quickly pulled back to gauge his reaction. His lips curled up into a smile as he reached out to gingerly grab your face, pulling you close for another kiss.

Sure you had kissed before but as characters, not as Drew and y/n, and it was amazing. "So I was right?" Drew whispered in a sing song voice.

You giggled snuggling up into him, "you were right Starkey." You both laughed and everything felt back to normal. The both of you decided to go and say bye to the cast for the night.

Opening the trailer door, Chase, Rudy, and Madelyn quickly jumped backwards looking guilty. Your jaw dropped, "Were you listening?" You laughed looking at Drew's also dropped jaw.

"No, nah, not us!" They all horribly failed to contain their excitement. "Let's just say we've been waiting for this." Rudy laughed as he shrugged his shoulders.

Drew pulled you against him and placed a kiss on the top of your head. "Yeah me too." He whispered so only you could hear.
